AIIMS & OBJECTIVES-

DG ISHK foundation is a non-profit organization working for education, health, agriculture, environment, culture, human development, crime control & women empowerment.

DG ISHK foundation aims to initiate value in people’s lives with respect to better health, education and social upliftment of economically weaker sections of society by effective communication strategies empowering them economically, socially to alleviate the sufferings of vulnerable communities through citizen participation, nonprofits and government agencies. We release that knowledge leads to awareness, which would further lead to effective action in overall human and social development. We empower communities and provide proactive solutions for humanity’s welfare through progressive action.

HISTORY: DG ISHK foundation comes into existence as a result of the personal & motivational initiative of Directors Dr. Mohammad Khalid & Dr. Ashar Imam to enhance the Socio-economic status of the underprivileged people though a team of committed people. DG ISHK foundation aim has been to secure integrated development through people participation. The key areas identified of for proactive action advocacy and research include child rights, education, health, hygiene, sustainable livelihood for Women, female empowerment, care for aged & elderly, creating sustainable employment through microfinance schemes enabling businesses in Animal husbandry, dairy & Fisheries, animal welfare.

Our notable area of interest includes Art and culture, children civil issue, disability, education, literacy, environmental, natural resources management, food & agriculture. Health & nutrition, HIV/AIDS, labor & employment, sustainable management of land resources, micro finance(S4Gs), micro small & medium enterprises, minority issue, right to information and advocacy, rural development & poverty alleviation. Our efforts have developed lasting association with government, non- government & corporate organization as well as communities & groups with whom we have worked. The philosophy of ours had to led to adopt a holistic & Participative approach to develop of society. We believe in inclusiveness and cohesion covering all the sections of society.
